The Rock Shares First Teaser For DC’s League of Super-Pets, Cast Announced

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has shared the first teaser of his upcoming DC animated film League of Superpets, and also revealed the voice cast. The actor and former wrestler posted to Twitter on Tuesday to share the trailer, offering the first look at his role of Krypto. You can see the video below, which also reveals a voice cast of Kevin Hart as Ace (Bat-Hound) along with Kate McKinnon, Keanu Reeves, John Krasinski, Diego Luna, Natasha Lyonne, and Vanessa Byer.

Krypto and Ace are arguably two of the best-known of DC’s animal superhero sidekicks. Krypto is the canine companion to Superman, and Ace is the pet of Batman. Other Superpets have included Robin Robin, Supergirl’s cat Streaky, and Wonder Woman’s kangaroo Jumpa.

Jared Stern (The LEGO Batman Movie and Sam Levine are directing a film from a script Stern wrote with John Whittington (The Lego Ninjago Movie). Plot details are being kept under wraps for the film,. which is set to release on May 20th, 2022.
