There Are Three Possible Choices For Who Gets Charles Manson’s Body
As we previously reported, the decision of who gets the body of Charles Manson is complicated, as multiple people have filed for the right to it. TMZ reports that there are three possible options for who will get the body, which is currently on ice in storage. There were documents filed by three men according to the Kern County Coroner.
The first man is Michael Channels, who submitted a will from Manson that is said to only be “partially legible.” Channels is listed as a witness, which could cause people to doubt his story. The second is Matthew Robert Lentz, who claims to be Manson’s son. Lentz also filed a will, but it only has one witness instead of the required two. Finally, Jason Freeman claims he is Manson’s grandson and filed documents to prove he’s the son of Charles Manson Jr. This would make him the next of kin, but Manson told prison officials before his death that he had no family.
