Zack Snyder Planned On Introducing Carrie Kelly As Robin In Worlds of DC

CBM reports that in a post on his Vero account, director Zack Snyder revealed that he had plans to introduce Carrie Kelly as Robin at some point in his films. This was before he left Justice League and the “Worlds of DC” brand due to the death of his daughter.

A fan asked Snyder which Robin it was that The Joker killed prior to Batman V Superman, and Snyder said in his version it would have been Dick Grayson, not Jason Todd as in the comics. Carrie would have been Dick’s replacement.

Carrie Kelly was introduced as the first female Robin in Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns and eventually became Catgirl in The Dark Knight Strikes Again. She was then brought into the main DC canon thanks to the New 52 timeline.
