411’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 2 Preview

Hello folx! We are at Arena CDMX in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico, for AAA Triplemania 34 Night 2! I’m coming off a perfect score from Night One, so let’s see if I can keep it going! I already talked about the history of Triplemania in Friday’s article. So, let’s get right into the card tonight!

Rey Fénix is set to defend his AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against Jack Cartwheel, Mini Vikingo, and Nathan Frazer! La Catalina looks to finally take the Reina de Reinas Championship from Flammer!

We have a 15-Man Cop Bardahl! The War Raiders have issued an open challenge for the AAA World Tag Team Championships! Psycho Clown is looking for revenge against the monster El Carnicero! And in our main event, El Grande Americano looks to win his first Mega Championship from Dominik Mysterio!

With no announced wrestlers for this match, I don’t have much to say about it. I was leaning towards an El Fiscal win, because they’ve been giving him a decent push lately. But with his heel turn on R-Truth, I could see Damien Priest showing up and establishing himself as a major heel in AAA.

Winner: Damien Priest

El Carnicero vs Psycho Clown

Psycho Clown is a good first feud for El Carnicero. He has enough prestige to mean something, and losses won’t really hurt him. Carnicero did a decent job in his squash match at Ola de Calor, so I’m intrigued to see how he does against a stronger opponent.

I’m sure Psycho Clown is going to do what he can to put the big man over and make him look good. But it’s up to Carnicero to really prove he has what it takes to be in this position. A gimmick match also helps to hide some of the greenness. The match should be a fun plunder brawl, and I expect to see some of Psycho Circus show up to help Psycho Clown.

But in the end, this is about establishing your new monster, so El Carnicero will pick up the win after a brutal battle.

Winner: El Carnicero

Another match where I don’t know for sure who all is going to be in it. But I think it’s a safe bet that Los Americanos are answering the call. They got robbed at Ola de Calor and went over in the Tag Team Elimination match at Night One. So, it just makes sense for them to be the ones to answer the call.

If it is Los Americanos, based on the match from Ola de Calor, this will be a banger. All four men are quite good at this pro wrestling thing. We will get a mix of technical, brawling, and high-flying action. And the pop when Los Americanos win the titles will only be matched by El Grande Americano winning the Mega Championship.

AAA Reina de Reinas Championship
La Catalina vs Flammer

I’ve been going against Flammer since last year. And yet she kept winning. Keeping her title with wins against Faby Apache, Sussy Love, Bayley, La Catalina, Lady Shani, and Nattie. And once again I am saying she will lose the title.

La Catalina was a hot prospect that AAA/WWE was able to steal away from CMLL. She came in with a lot of hype, and tonight is the time to give her the title and let her run with it. I am sure the ending will have some Las Tóxicas shenanigans. I could see some miscommunication between Flammer and La Hiedra.

But in the end, no matter how it happens, La Catalina will be our new AAA Reina de Reinas Champion.

Fatal Four-Way for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship
Jack Cartwheel vs Mini Vikingo vs Nathan Frazer vs Rey Fénix

If the Triple-Threat from Ola de Calor is any indication, this will be our Match of the Night. Cartwheel, Vikingo, and Frazer had an absolutely instant classic. And adding Rey Fénix is only going to make it that much better.

I expect some balls-to-the-wall nonstop action in this one. With bodies flying all over the place at a frenetic pace. Americano vs Mysterio will have more drama and storytelling, but this will be the one to watch for pure entertainment and spectacle.

I don’t think Rey Fénix is losing the title just yet, but all four men are deserving of a win in this one. It will be a close match with a lot of near falls. But in the end, Rey Fénix will be walking out with is title.

Winner and still AAA World Cruiserweight Champion: Rey Fénix

AAA Mega Championship
El Grande Americano vs Dominik Mysterio

A story almost two years in the making. The Americano saga started at the beginning of last year. Gable got hurt, and the new Americano showed up to carry on the name gimmick. And somehow this Americano got over huge in Mexico. And at the same time, Dom had his run to and with the Mega Champion throughout 2025.

It’s been a wild ride for Americano, winning the Rey de Reyes and fending off the OG Americano in one of the best matches of 2026. And now it all comes to a head. As El Grande Americano has a chance to win the new Mega Champion and become the face of AAA. The heat on this match is going to be insane. The Mexican fans always show their passion. And I expect them to be LOUD during this match. Both with hate for Dom and love for Americano.

I expect to see some classic rudo tactics from Dom. A lot of stalling and using the numbers game to his advantage. I also expect to see Los Americanos there to counter the numbers and keep this as clean as possible. This will hopefully be an epic emotional ride, on par with the OG Americano vs Americano match. And the pop that Americano will get when he beats Dom will be insane.
