Andrade El Idolo Advertised For Big Time Wrestling Show

Andrade El Idolo is advertised for a new event for Big Time Wrestling in November. Big Time Wrestling announced on Tuesday that Andrade will compete at their November 1st show.

Finally! Big Time Wrestling returns to the Augusta Civic Center on Saturday, November 1 with Olympic Gold Medalist, 13 time World Champion and WWE Hall of Famer KURT ANGLE.
ANDRADE makes his BTW debut to battle DONOVAN DIJAK, King of Bros MATT RIDDLE meets the French Canadian Frankenstein PCO in a NO DQ match, Mr. USA TONY ATLAS, Tag Team Special with SWIPE RIGHT vs. WAVES and CURLS, 3 Way Dance featuring MORTAR, CHANNING THOMAS w/ Sydney Bakala and DANNY MILES plus much more.
Meet KURT and all the stars for photos and autographs from 5-7:30 PM. Belltime is 7:30PM.

Andrade’s contract status has been a big point of contention over the last few weeks. WWE released him in mid-September over what was reported to be a disciplinary issue. He signed with AEW and made his return on the October 1st episode of AEW Dynamite.
However, he has not been seen on AEW TV since that appearance. WWE is reportedly enforcing a non-compete clause that allows them to keep Andrade from working for any wrestling company for up to a year, due to the fact that he was fired with cause.
It’s not clear how the non-compete clause factors into Andrade’s booking for Big Time Wrestling. BTW’s show takes place at the Augusta Civic Center in Augusta, Maine.
