Andrade El Idolo Returns On AEW Dynamite, Attacks Kenny Omega

Andrade El Idolo is back in AEW, making his return on Dynamite and attacking Kenny Omega. Wednesday night’s show saw the WWE alumnus return to the company following Brodido and Omega’s win over Josh Alexander and The Young Bucks.

Following the match, Omega approached the Bucks before Alexander hit Omega with a thrust kick. Jurassic Express came down to the ring and took out the Bucks and Alexander. Omega argued with Jack Perry about his getting involved but Perry went to take out the Bucks and Jurassic Express fought the Bucks to the back.

Omega then got on the mic and cut a promo, but before he could leave Idolo appeared and took out Omega. Don Callis then entered the ring and shook hands with Idolo.

Andrade was released from WWE in mid-September, reportedly over a disciplinary issue. It was reported that he did not have a non-compete clause. He was with AEW from 2021 through 2023.
