The New York Knicks currently lead the San Antonio Spurs at 2-0 in the NBA Finals. If the Knicks win, it will give the team its first NBA Championship since 1973, and it looks like many fans are crediting WWE Superstar Danhausen for “uncursing” the team.

The Knicks won last night’s game 105-104 in San Antonio to go up 2-0 in the series, and fans all over social media were talking about Danhausen. Danhausen, before the game, referenced his hopes for Stephen A. Smith’s checks to keep clearing so the Knicks will remain uncursed.

As noted, Danhausen gave a list of demands to Stephen A. Smith to keep the Knicks “uncursed.” It appears like the uncursing paid off as the Knicks got another win.

After the Knicks won, Danhausen wrote on his X account, “@stephenasmith check cleared. KNICKSHAUSEN and the UNCURSE continue! (Danhausen is on a European travel time delay.)” He later added, “Has anyone thought about how powerful Danhausen is yet today? KNICKSHAUSEN ESPN”

The NBA Finals continue with Game 3 on Monday, June 8. Game 3 will take place at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. You can view Danhausen’s comments and other reactions on social media below:
