Note on Backstage Rumblings in AEW & WWE About WWE EVOLVE’s Status

With WWE Main Event set to move to Wednesdays from next month, people in WWE as well as in AEW have been reportedly wondering about the status of EVOLVE.

As noted, WWE announced earlier this week that starting October 14, ‘Main Event’ will air exclusively on Rumble every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET. The weekly show currently airs on Thursdays on YouTube.

With WWE Main Event set to go head-to-head with AEW Dynamite and Worlds Collide airing this coming Wednesday, Fightful Select recently reported that there have been a lot of inquiries within WWE and AEW about the status of EVOLVE.

It’s worth noting that EVOLVE currently airs every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Tubi. Speaking of its future, Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer recently noted that the weekly developmental show has enough taped content to take it through February 2027. You can read the report in detail RIGHT HERE.
