Shane Taylor Attacks Wheeler Yuta Backstage on AEW Collision, Challenges Jon Moxley to a Match at Summer Blockbuster

Shane Taylor laid out a challenge to AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley in violent fashion on tonight’s episode of Collision. After his stablemates failed to defeat The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and PAC) in a Trios match earlier in the show, Shane Taylor brutalized Wheeler Yuta backstage, with the Death Riders nowhere to be seen.
Taylor got on the microphone and claimed that Moxley failed to protect his “brother.” He also suggested that The Death Riders have become “soft” under Moxley and proceeded to lay out a challenge.
Taylor noted that next week, AEW’s annual TV special, Summer Blockbuster, will emanate from Moxley’s hometown, Cincinnati, Ohio, and suggested they find out how dirty they can get in front of his loyalists. He then claimed that Moxley and Co. have every reason to fear Shane Taylor Promotions and signed off after blasting Yuta’s head into the shutter.
“Moxley, I need you to answer one question for me: ‘Am I my brother’s keeper?’ But from where I am standing, you’ve failed. Maybe your time at the top has made The Death Riders soft. As a matter of fact, Mr. Continental Champion, next week, we are in your hometown. So, I say we show them just how nasty the right really gets. STP doesn’t fear the Death Riders, but you have every reason to fear STP. Let’s see how you rumble, bad man!” he said.
