Arianna Grace Celebrates Title Win on Social Media

Friday the 13th proved a particularly lucky day for Arianna Grace, who came out of TNA No Surrender with the Knockouts World Championship. Using the signature cobra maneuver — and puppet — of her father, Santino Marella, but with deadlier effect to the throat rather than the cranium, she defeated Lei Ying Lee.
After the fact, she had a lot to say on her socials, first declaring herself Queen of TNA.
Queen of TNA!!!!! Meeeeeeeee https://t.co/aYTkZ1Y8VG

Then, she specifically celebrated being the first woman of South Asian heritage to win a women’s title in a major promotion. Grace is of mixed heritage, being part Italian, Finnish, Metis (Indigenous Canadian), and of course Pakistani through her maternal grandfather.
This makes me so proud! My grandpa (maternal side) was from Pakistan! Reppin! 🥰🥰🥰 https://t.co/k4jfbEH329

Grace also had a message for fans who’ve suggested that her in-ring ability wasn’t up to snuff. Essentially, she suggested they watch the match and judge for themselves. She put it a little less diplomatically than that, though.
HEYYY you ugly idiot wrestling fans who told me for so long that I cannot perform in ring …. go and watch my match with Lei and then you can literally go (assume the rest)

When a fan suggested that what she meant was, “you can literally go edit your posts because now you have evidence that contradicts your previous views, so you can learn and grow from your experience and amend your opinion based on new information” Grace responded, “sure lol that’s nicer.”
Whether they admit or not, many will surely amend their views of Grace now that she’s champion.
