As previously reported, The Hurt Syndicate spokesperson MVP announced on yesterday’s AEW Collision: Winter is Coming that Bobby Lashley is sidelined with an injury. No other details or the nature of his injury were revealed. Fightful Select now has an injury update for Bobby Lashley.
According to the report, Lashley’s injury is legitimate. There are no specific details yet, but it’s said that Lashley is expected “to miss quite a bit of time.”
Lashley last wrestled at AEW Full Gear 2025 last month. He competed in the Casino Gauntlet match to crown the first AEW National Champion. Ricochet won the match to become the inaugural AEW National Champion.
Lashley signed with AEW a little over a year ago, debuting on Dynamite on October 30, 2024. He joined MVP and Shelton Benjamin, his old Hurt Business stablemates in WWE. Together, they formed the Hurt Syndicate stable.
Benjamin and Lashley later won the AEW World Tag Team Titles on Dynamite in January. They held the titles for 214 days, later losing them at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in London to the team of Brodido.
Although Lashley is hurt right now, Benjamin will compete in the AEW Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale set for next week. Other competitors set for the Diamond Battle Royale include Mark Davis, Brody King, Anthony Bowens, Max Caster, and Ricochet. The AEW Dynamite: Holiday Bash is set for Wednesday, December 17.
