During the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp was asked if there was any internal heat in WWE over her wrestlers, such as B-Fab and Michin, suffering injuries in matches against the reigning WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill. As previously reported, B-Fab suffered an injury during the recent WWE Holiday Tour, where she replaced Michin as an opponent for Cargill.
Michin herself was also injured during her match against Cargill earlier in the tour. According to Sean Ross Sapp, two wrestlers falling prey to injuries against Cargill is something that’s being discussed among the WWE roster. However, Sapp noted that he hasn’t heard of any specific heat on Cargill from the office or producers, but it’s a trend that’s being noticed and talked about in the WWE locker room.
The context of the injuries and how they occurred during their respective matches is unknown. Cargill previously signed with WWE in 2023, later making her in-ring debut at the 2024 Royal Rumble in the women’s Rumble match. Cargill later won her first WWE Women’s Championship last November at Saturday Night’s Main Event after beating Tiffany Stratton.
Although Jade Cargill has held the title for almost three months and has defended the belt at non-televised live events, she’s yet to defend the title on WWE programming.
