– Fightful Select has some backstage notes from WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 in San Diego. Tonight’s show will feature both John Cena and Brock Lesnar in action.
According to Fightful Select, John Cena and Brock Lesnar have their own backstage dressing rooms at the event. John Cena is defending his Intercontinental Title against Dominik Mysterio. Meanwhile, Lesnar is competing in the men’s WarGames match.
Additionally, Lesnar reportedly arrived in San Diego on Friday, flying via private plane as he usually does.
– This year’s Survivor Series falls just two days after Thanksgiving. WWE reportedly held a Thanksgiving lunch for some of the staff onsite at the event in San Diego, California.
– Fightful Select also reports that WWE was trying to block people from filming on TikTok, and it’s reportedly been a problem all week. Additionally, it’s said that the setup for Survivor Series will be “a little different” than previous years’ events. There are no other details on how it will be different.
Additionally, Fightful also reports that WWE went to great lengths to protect the rehearsals because tonight’s premium live event is being held in an open stadium. WWE did this by putting up curtains for some of the rehearsals and didn’t plan entrance-heavy rehearsals because people would be able to see them from their hotel rooms.
Also, Fightful reports that WWE set up a ring backstage in order to help with avoiding spoilers, mainly from anyone who is trying to film the rehearsals more than anyone else.
Tonight’s WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 takes place at Petco Park in San Diego, California. It will air live on the ESPN App in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally. You can check out 411’s official preview RIGHT HERE.
