Bruce Prichard Was Reportedly Hired Back To WWE Months Ago
It was reported late last month that Bruce Prichard was hired back to WWE to be a part of the creative team and started at last Monday’s episode of RAW. Prichard himself later said there was a lot that needed to be worked out for his role in the company and other reports suggested that he wasn’t actually a part of the creative team. Now according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio (via Ringside News), it seems that Prichard has actually been back in WWE for since January. He was a consultant at the time and is now transitioning into a full-time job.
He said: “He’s also technically not on the writing team, I mean he’s– again, I don’t know if there’s a word for his role. I think he’s gonna be producing some vignettes, maybe. He’s not like — I mean he’s involved in the process, so he’s one of the key guys. He’s not #2, but he’s gonna be a guy who has a voice in things. I mean he’s on the team you know why — Vince had already hired him in January as a consultant and now it’s a full-time job.“
