Chris Jericho Cuts Promo on Double or Nothing Sellout, The Rock Congratulates Him

– As previously reported, the general ticket sale started yesterday for AEW’s upcoming debut event, Double or Nothing, and tickets sold out in four minutes. Earlier today, Chris Jericho released a video and cut a promo on the show selling out, taking credit for the sellout. You can check out that video below.
Jericho stated, “I am the sole reason why AEW is a smash success right out of the gate. And I want all of you to thank me for that and for all the huge success that AEW will hail in the future on my back. You’re welcome.”
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson later responded to the video and gave Jericho some praise. He also congratulated Jericho and AEW on the sellout, which you can also see below.
Chris Jericho will face Kenny Omega in a one-on-one match at AEW Double or Nothing. The event is set for May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
