Cody Files Trademarks For More Former WCW Events
PWInsider reports that Cody has filed trademarks for more former WCW events, including Slamboree and Superbrawl.
Slamboree is for: “G & S: Entertainment in the nature of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling; Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network”
Superbrawl is for: “G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network”
WCW ran Slamboree events from 1993 to 2000 before it was sold to WWE. A trademark was filed in 1998 and expired in 2005. As for Superbrawl, WCW ran those events from May 1991 to February 2001. A trademark was filed in 1996 and it also expired in 2005.
