Cody Rhodes Shows Up At Drew McIntyre’s House For a Brawl In New WWE Video

Cody Rhodes showed up at Drew McIntyre’s house as McIntyre was negotiating with Nick Aldis in a new video, leading to a brawl between the two. Rhodes and McIntyre’s long-running feud has been particularly heated as of late. McIntyre got suspended for hitting a ref with a Claymore on Smackdown in November. He also assaulted Rhodes a couple of weeks later and then interfered in Rhodes’ match with Oba Femi at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The new video, which was posted to WWE’s Twitter on Monday, saw Aldis show up at McIntyre’s home to negotiate. He offers McIntyre a WWE Championship match against Rhodes in return for an apology to the referee and a fine. McIntyre rejected the deal and eventually proposed his own. It involved a match against Rhodes where he picks the stipulation and a legal decree that if Rhodes touches him before the match, he is stripped of the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Aldis agreed to the deal. But just then, McIntyre gets a notification that Rhodes is outside his property. They confront Rhodes, who is livid that Aldis is negotiating with Aldis. McIntyre accused Aldis of setting him up and it turns into a brawl. Police break it up as Rhodes screams “Merry Christmas, Asshole!”
