Nick Aldis Suspends Drew McIntyre To Close WWE Smackdown

Drew McIntyre is “suspended” after he attacked Cody Rhodes and a referee in the closing segment of this week’s WWE Smackdown. McIntyre made his presence known in the main event, delivering a Claymore to the referee as Rhodes battled Aleister Black.
McIntyre, still angry over his loss to Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event, joined in on an attack by Black to Rhodes. Damian Priest came to the ring for the save. As McIntyre stood in the entrance ramp, Nick Aldis came out and said that he was done with the matter. He suspended McIntyre for his attack on the ref, effective immediately. A livid McIntyre argued with Aldis to close the show.
McIntyre has been on Aldis’ bad side for a long time for his attacks on Rhodes and others. Aldis accused him of attacking Jacob Fatu, though Mcintyre has professed innocence in that case.
SUSPENDED?!
