Competitors Announced For NJPW Best of the Super Juniors

– NJPW has announced the lineup for this year’s Best of the Super Juniors tournament. The company announced the list of competitors on Tuesday for the tournament, which begins on May 13th in Sendai, Japan and runs through June 5th in Ryogoku Sumo Hall.

The full list of announced names are below. It includes the debut appearances for Robbie Eagles, Jonathan Gresham, Bandido, and Shingo Takagi. The twentieth competitor is simply named “X,” with NJPW noting, “The last time a wrestler called X was announced, for King of Pro-Wrestling in October 2018, the mysterious figure turned out to be Shingo Takagi, who has gone on to turn the junior division upside-down. Who will be X this time? The internet is wild with speculation, but all will be revealed at Wrestling Dontaku in Fukuoka on May 4th.”
