Damian Priest Shares Positive Message, Wishes Fans a Happy New Year

WWE Superstar and former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest shared a message on social media, wishing fans a happy New Year. He also encouraged fans and others to try and smile and laugh to pass it on to others.

Damian Priest wrote, “Wishing you all the best New Year! We focus so much on what we want, what we believe should be, that we forget about what is. Life is so good. Smile. Laugh. Enjoy. Pass that on to someone. To anyone. To everyone. We ain’t shit. But we can do more for others. Let’s try together. I’m with you. 🤟”

Meanwhile, Priest will have his hands full at Friday Night SmackDown later this week. For the first episode of SmackDown of 2026, Priest will face his bitter, heated rival, Aleister Black, in a singles match. Hopefully, Black will keep Priest’s positive New Year message in mind.

This week’s WWE SmackDown, featuring Damian Priest vs. Aleister Black, takes place on Friday, January 2 at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. It will be broadcast live on the USA Network starting at 8:00 pm ET.
