Darby Allin picked up a win in his feud with Gabe Kidd, beating his rival in a wild Coffin Match on this week’s AEW Dynamite. Wednesday night’s show saw Kidd and Allin due battle in the match, which started in the parking lot of the venue and saw Allin put Kidd in the trunk of his car, then flip it over.

Allin grabbed Kidd and carried him into the arena on a road case, at which point Allin put Kidd in straitjacket. Kidd was able to battle back, but Allin took back over and laid Kidd out with several skateboard shots and a couple of Coffin Drops. He ultimately knocked Kidd into the coffin with a dive to pick up the win. You can see highlights from the match below.

The bout came after Kidd demanded to face Allin during the AEW Revolution post-show media scrum, and Tony Khan agreed to the match. Allin, Orange Cassidy, and Roderick Strong defeated Kidd, Clark Connors, and David Finlay in a tornado trios match at Revolution.
