DDT Alum Michael Nakazawa Signs With AEW

– All Elite Wrestling has added another member to its roster. Kenny Omega announced on the latest Being the Elite that Michael Nakazawa has come on board. You can see the episode below.

Nakazawa is an alumnus of DDT Pro in Japan and faced Alex Jebailey at NJPW CEO X NJPW When Worlds Collide last year. He has also worked for Michinoku Pro, AJPW and other promotions in recent years. He has teamed with and worked against Omega several times, most recently at a DDT Pro show in September of 2014 when the Golden Lovers (Omega & Kota Ibushi) beat Nakazawa & Yoshihiko.

DDT Pro president commented on the announcement, saying (rough translation) that this may be the best choice for Nakazawa and teasing a possible farewell match for him:
