As previously reported, WWE Superstar Penta suffered a shoulder injury during his Last Time Is Now Tournament match against Solo Sikoa on WWE Raw last month. The wrestler appeared to suffer a hard landing on his shoulder while performing a risky Hurricanrana off the ringside barricade.
In a post on Instagram this weekend, Penta’s doctor, Dr. Odiseo, provided an update on Penta’s injury.
Dr. Odiseo wrote, “Thank you for your trust. Almost two weeks in, we’re seeing incredible results.” Also, as noted on Friday (Dec. 4), the doctor wrote, “@penta_zero_miedo is on the right track, and we have good results so far. However, we mustn’t get complacent and must continue working together. I’m confident it will be ready by Friday.”
Additionally, when a fan asked if Penta would be cleared to compete at AAA Guerra de Titanes, where he and Rey Fenix are scheduled to take on Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano in a tag team match, the doctor later responded, “Hope so.”
Dr. Odiseo is a renowned physician among luchadors, as noted by his Instagram account. Hopefully, his latest update is a good sign that Penta will be cleared for an in-ring return sooner rather than later.
