Dominik Mysterio Discusses His Betrayal of El Grande Americano & Alliance With Omos & Dorian Roldan As Liv Morgan Makes a Surprise Appearance

AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio discussed his betrayal of El Grande Americano and his alliance with Omos and Dorian Roldan at Verano de Escandalo Week Three. The segment also featured a surprise appearance from WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.

As noted, Mysterio turned on Americano during the tag team bout against Los Perros Del Mal two weeks ago. He subsequently unveiled his alliance with Omos and Dorian Roldan.

Mysterio sat down with Andrea Bazarte on tonight’s show to explain his actions. Dom claimed that El Grande doubting his intentions ahead of the tag team match was one of the major reasons why he turned on him.

The AAA Mega Champion pointed to Americano shaking hands with his “imbecile father” Rey Mysterio at Guerra de Titanes as the starting point of his hate toward Americano. Dom said he left AAA for several months to see what El Grande would do in his absence. He added that Americano became exactly what he had thought: the national hero of Mexico who got himself a Mexican girlfriend.

Dominik declared he, as The King of Luchadores, will destroy the dreams of Americano and Bazarte when he beats the masked wrestler at Triplemania. Dom added that at Triplemania 34, he will show why El Grande Americano will always be behind him as the second-best luchador with the second-best most beautiful girlfriend.

On why he opted to align with Dorian Roldan and Omos, Dominik said that he was upset over Rey being appointed as the AAA General Manager over Roldan and that he believes Roldan will relate to him over having disappointing parents.

Mysterio confirmed that he will be in attendance on next week’s show to confront Americano. The interview ended with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan showing up to confront Bazarte before exiting alongside Dom.
