Lady Leigh Reflects on Her WWE Release One Year Ago

Former WWE Evolve wrestler, Lady Leigh (aka Jin Tala), was released by WWE one year ago at around this time. She shared a statement on her social media. Earlier today, she shared a message on social media, reflecting on getting the call about her release.
Lady Leigh wrote, “This day last year, I was released from WWE. The call taken at my boyfriend’s birthday dinner … no reasons were given. It left me thinking I didn’t have what it takes. But Im a stubborn mf, & chased a gut feeling that my potential hadn’t reached a limit yet & that I would decide when I’m done.” She continued, “Now I’m in Japan, creating unforgettable memories & getting closer to the type of wrestling I love & to be loved by wrestling. I’m evolving, adapting, ever growing. Set your and watch it burn brightly & beautifully.”
Following her WWE release, Leigh has been active on the independents, and she also wrestled on the October 1 edition of ROH on HonorClub TV, losing to Cassie Lee. Additionally, she competes in Sendai Girls in Japan.
