Former NXT Creative Team Member Nick Bonanno Reportedly Returning To MLW

Nick Bonanno, a former member of the NXT creative team, is returning to MLW according to a new report. PWInsider reports that Bonanno is making his return to MLW as of Battle Riot on Thursday.

Bonnano had been a part of WWE NXT’s creative team from April of 2022 until the start of 2024. He is the booker for Gotham Wrestling in New York and previously worked for Championship Wrestling Of Hollywood.

Bonnano will work as both a writer and producer for MLW. The promotion is set to present Battle Riot VIII on Thursday from Osceola Heritage Park’s Events Center in Kissimmee, Florida.

Announced for the Battle Riot match so far are Killer Kross, Alex Hammerstone, Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows, Bishop Dyer, Kushida, Matthew Justice, Adam Brooks, Templario, Austin Aries, Donovan Dijak, Ikuro Kwon, Mr. Thomas, Okumura, Diego Hill, Paul London, and Jesus Rodriguez. The show airs live free on February 5th via YouTube and beIN Sports.

Bonanno’s return to MLW comes as the promotion is teasing the return of MLW: Fusion sometime this year.
