Frankie Kazarian is a big believer in Leon Slater, Jason Hotch, and Zachary Wentz, calling them the future of TNA. Kazarian spoke with SoCalVal on WrestlingNews.co’s The Velvet Ropes and was asked during the conversation who he felt as the next shining stars of the company.
“Leon Slater is the first that comes to mind,” Kazarian said (per Fightful). “I was very fortunate to wrestle him the last time we were in the UK, two years ago, and be involved in the match that got him his contract. We signed him right there in the ring. I was part of that, which was really cool. Leon Slater is the obvious choice. He is, right now as we speak, proving why he belongs, and he is the future of this business.”
He continued, “Two other guys, Jason Hotch, that kid has a lot of raw talent and a lot of ability. He has a great look. He has a great attitude. The same can be said for Zachary Wentz. Those guys, all, the one thing they have in common is the respect they have for this business, and they’re hungry, and they’re very coachable, which is a quality I look forward to, especially in a young wrestler. So those three guys, when we’re talking about male talent, those three guys, I say, in the next three to five years, you’re going to be seeing and hearing a lot from those guys in TNA and just in pro wrestling in general. “
Kazarian is set to face Matt Cardona on tonight’s episode of TNA Impact.
