Harley Cameron to Challenge Shayna Baszler for BRCW Women’s Title This August

Former WWE Superstar Shayna Baszler is set to battle AEW’s Harley Cameron at an indie event this August.
Earlier today, Boca Raton Championship Wrestling (BRCW) announced that Baszler will defend the BRCW Women’s Championship against Harley Cameron at its Summer Smash event on August 16.
Baszler captured the BRCW Women’s Title by defeating Lacey Lane at the promotion’s November Knockdown event last November. Meanwhile, Harley earned a shot at the title by winning the “Whole Lotta Women” Battle Royale at Birthday Bash in March 2026.

“Boca Raton Championship Wrestling (BRCW) has confirmed that reigning BRCW Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler will defend the title against Harley Cameron at Summer Smash, scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2026 at The Studio at Mizner Park in Boca Raton, Florida. Baszler captured the BRCW Women’s Championship at BRCW November Knockdown on November 2, 2025, defeating Lacey Lane at the VIP Ballroom at CBI in Boca Raton. She has held the title since.
“Cameron earned the championship opportunity by winning the “Whole Lotta Women” Battle Royale at BRCW Birthday Bash on March 1, 2026. Cameron was the last competitor standing in a multi-woman field to secure her place as the next challenger to Baszler’s title. Known as the “Queen of Spades,” Baszler enters the bout as champion, while Cameron arrives at Summer Smash having earned her shot rather than been handed it. The match marks Cameron’s first opportunity at the BRCW Women’s Championship.
“The bout joins a previously announced BRCW Heavyweight Championship match between Steve Maclin and Matt Riddle as the second title match confirmed for the event.”
