Jade Cargill has had a couple of feuds with Tiffany Stratton, and she says Stratton is an opponent she has enjoyed working with. Cargill defeated Stratton at Saturday Night’s Main Event in November of last year to win the WWE Women’s Championship. Flash forward to now, and she battled Stratton at WWE Night of Champions for Stratton’s Women’s United States Title.
In the leadup to Night of Champions, Cargill appeared on the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast where she was asked about working with Stratton. Cargill noted that she enjoys working with Stratton an d that they can do some unique things in the ring.
“We’ve had — what, this is our fifth match? Fourth, fifth match that we’re going into right now?,” Cargill began (per Fightful). “I think we know each other very, very, very well… She’s so athletic and acrobatic and I’m a powerhouse and athletic at the same time.”
She continued, “I love working with because we can do things that a lot of people can’t do, and that’s why I love working with women who can do all this crazy, acrobatic things and they’re athletic because we can put on a show. I think that we’re a great pair. People say that we’re kind of at odds when it comes to wrestling but, I think that makes the best matches. We have banger matches, we have banger spots.”
Stratton defeated Cargill to retain her title after Charlotte Flair and Chelsea Green came to her aid at Night of Champions.
