Jey Uso Advances To King of the Ring Finals On WWE Smackdown

Jey Uso is headed to WWE Night of Champion, moving onto the King of the Ring finals on tonight’s episode of WWE Smackdown. Uso defeated Je’Von Evans in a semifinal match in the tournament on Friday’s show to move onto the finals.

The nearly 18 minute match saw Evans put everything he had against Uso, and nearly pick up the won on a number of occasions. Uso came back and was able to prevent an OG Cutter, crotching Evans on the top turnbuckle. He then hit a spear and then went up top for an Uso Splash. He picked up the pinfall win in order to move on into the finals. You can see clips from the WWE Smackdown match below.

Uso now moves on to WWE Night of Champions, where he will face Oba Femi. Femi defeated Dominik Mysterio on Raw to advance to the finals. The winner of the tournament will earn a world title match at WWE SummerSlam.
