Jody Threat Departs TNA Wrestling

Jody Threat is no longer with TNA Wrestling after receiving her release from the company, bringing her latest run with the promotion to an end.

According to PWInsider, Threat requested her release, and TNA granted it. The two parties are said to have parted on good terms, with the departure described as “amicable”. The report did not provide a reason for the request, and neither Threat nor TNA has publicly commented on the matter.

Threat joined TNA in 2023 after making a name for herself on the Canadian independent wrestling scene. She quickly became part of the Knockouts division and later found herself alongside Dani Luna as one-half of Spitfire. The duo went on to capture the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship twice.

Earlier this year, TNA announced that Threat had signed a new contract. Her final appearance for the promotion came during last week’s television tapings as she lost to Jada Stone in the TNA Knockouts Television Title Tournament Quarterfinal.

As of now, there has been no indication of what comes next for Jody Threat.
