According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, John Hennigan (Johnny Mundo/Johnny Impact), has inquired about coming into NJPW. There was interest in the past from NJPW, but due to political reasons (Hennigan was working for AAA, and NJPW has a working agreement with CMLL), so NJPW stayed away from him out of loyalty to CMLL.
