I’m told this is the first meeting between two wrestlers donning the Parka & Americano hoods, so history is being made this evening in Monterrey.

We hear from Dirty Dom after the match. Dom congratulates Vikingo on his victory, but it’ll be different next week. He’ll show Vikingo what it is to be a real champion, and he’ll be king of the luchadores.
Flammer says she’s the Reina de Reinas, with the longest reign as champion in the title’s history. She’s the greatest champion in Mexico, that’s why she was in the WWE video game. She asks where her competition is and issues a challenge to the main roster women for Rey de Reyes. We’ll see that next week!
Rey de Reyes Tournament Qualifying Match: Mr. Iguana vs. Santos Escobar vs. Psycho Clown vs. Abismo Negro: Iguana’s tag team partner Lola Vice was successful earlier tonight at NXT Vengeance Day against Kelani Jordan. Santos drags Yesca over to Iguana and celebrates. He’ll face La Parka & the Grande Americanos in the finals. Corey runs through the upcoming three week extravaganza. Pagano & Psycho Clown face the War Raiders in Week 2. Week 1 will feature Dom & Vikingo.
Psycho & Pagano talk about beating the War Raiders before Psycho wonders what happened to Murder Clown. Pagano claims he doesn’t know. Psycho asks Pagano if he had something to do with it. A falling pipe makes the conversation pause, and Psycho & Pagano act quietly to find out who it is. Turns out it was Murder exiting the bathroom. Psycho & Murder exchange platitudes while Pagano stays quiet.
La Parka vs. “Original” El Grande Americano: The fans are solidly behind Parka, not so much Americano. Original misses a strike in the corner & Parka does some dancing. Knee breaker & dragon screw by Original, who bounces Parka’s knee off the ringpost. Original keeps working the left knee of Parka. Parka gets a sunset flip, but Original is right back on the offensive, stomping Parka in the corner. School boy by Parka gets two, but Original dragonscrews him on the middle rope for two.
