Jon Moxley was able to survive Will Ospreay’s quest for revenge, retaining his Continental Championship at AEW Dynasty. Sunday night’s PPV saw Moxley successfully defend his championship against Ospreay in an 18 minute match.

The match saw Ospreay focused on brutalizing Moxley as opposed to picking up the win. Ospreay got his licks in, but Moxley was able to keep going and eventually hit a piledriver. Officials came in to check on Ospreay, but the challenge was able to beat the 10-count. Moxley hit a stomp and two Paradigm shifts, but Ospreay kicked out and it took a Death Rider for Moxley to finally get the pinfall.

Ospreay made his return at AEW Revolution, seeking revenge on Moxley for putting him out of action at AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door. He had challenged Moxley for the Continental Champion to keep the Death Riders from ringside.

Moxley’s title reign now stands at 107 days. He won the title at AEW Worlds End, beating Kazuchika Okada in the finals of the 2025 Continental Classic. You can see highlights from the AEW Dynasty match below.
