AEW Originally Considered Alice in Chains ‘Them Bones’ for Jack Perry

Fightful Select reports that AEW originally had a different licensed theme for Jungle Boy, aka Jack Perry, after his heel turn. Jack Perry previously used the song “Tarzan Boy” by Baltimora for his entrance theme. Following his change in attitude and becoming “The Scapegoat,” Perry stopped using the theme, and AEW reportedly had a different one in mind for him originally.
According to the report, AEW heavily considered “Them Bones” by Alice in Chains to use for Perry’s new entrance theme. Ultimately, AEW opted not to go with that theme, and a last-minute decision was reportedly made to have Jack Perry use Beethoven’s “Symphony No.5” for a while instead.
Perry later disappeared from AEW programming after losing the TNT Title to Daniel Garcia at AEW Full Gear in November 2024. He later made his return at AEW All Out 2025 last September, returning to being a babyface and reforming Jurassic Express with Luchasaurus.
