Kelani Jordan Cheats To Retain TNA Knockouts Title In Chaotic WWE NXT Main Event

Kelani Jordan used heelish tactics to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship in a hectic main event match with Jordynne Grace on this week’s WWE NXT. Jordan put her title on the line against Grace on Tuesday’s show in the headlining bout. The two stars went back and forth, trading nearfalls until late in the match chaos exploded from the back that let Jordan take the advantage.
The messy situation saw Trick Williams and Ricky Saints, who had been fighting all night, spill to the ringside area. As officials tried to separate them, Grace was able to get a nearfall on Jordan. The title belt ended up in the ring and Jordan picked it up as Grace approached her. With the referee’s attention elsewhere, Jordan nailed Grace with the title and covered her. The referee counted the pin, allowing Jordan to retain the title.
Jordan’s TNA Knockouts Championship reign now stands at 33 days. She won the vacant title at Victory Road on September 26th with a win over Lei Ying Lee.
