KENTA and Tomohiro Ishii Set for ROH & NJPW War of the Worlds Tour
– ROH Wrestling has announced that NJPW wrestlers Tomohiro Ishii and KENTA are signed to join the upcoming ROH-NJPW War of the Worlds Tour later this May. The tour is set to run for four dates in May. You can check out the full announcement below.
NJPW STARS TOMOHIRO ISHII, KENTA SIGNED FOR WAR OF THE WORLDS TOUR
Tomohiro Ishii and KENTA will be among the New Japan Pro-Wrestling stars competing on the upcoming War of the Worlds tour.
The tour, which will feature world class matches with top talent from both ROH and NJPW, kicks off on May 6 in Buffalo before heading to Toronto on May 7, Kalamazoo (Mich.) on May 9, and concluding in Chicago on May 10.
Tickets for all four War of the Worlds shows went on sale this morning for HonorClub members. Tickets go on sale for the general public this Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m. local time. Ishii is a former ROH World Television Champion, five-time NEVER Openweight Champion and two-time RevPro British Heavyweight Champion. The no-nonsense veteran has a well-earned reputation for being one of the toughest and hardest-hitting competitors in the sport.
KENTA, a top star for years in Pro Wrestling NOAH, made his surprise debut in NJPW last June. He shocked the wrestling world a couple months later when he joined Bullet Club. KENTA made a number of appearances in ROH from 2005-2009, engaging in classic matches with the likes of Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe and Nigel McGuinness, among others.
