On the latest episode of Kliq This, Kevin Nash raised serious questions about the trustworthiness of any WWE contract going forward following the company’s approach to pay cut negotiations, The New Day’s departure, and more. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods chose to exit the company earlier this month when WWE wanted to restrcture their contracts and cut their pay. You can check out some highlights below:

On TKO Having Lost Their Believability:

“I can say this and know that it’s a true statement: the guys that they offer the deals to that they now want to renege 50% of that funds. If you’re wanting to renege 50% of the funds on a contract that signed — moving forward, do you think that’s an anomaly, or do you think that’s just their motives? That’s just… I wouldn’t believe a f**king word they said.”

On the Overall Situation:

“I think it’s a s**tshow… I mean, I’m reading something on Instagram two weeks ago and the argument was, ‘Is Kofi Kingston uh the greatest Black wrestler of all-time?’ And you know they said — they gave all the accolades… and Kofi kept coming up with with a lot of people saying that Kofi could conceivably be the greatest Black wrestler of all-time. And the next thing I hear is that they’ve both been asked to take a 50% pay cut. So obviously those guys at TKO didn’t have the same sentiment, I don’t know.”

On The New Day’s Departure:

“Absolutely [they made the right choice]. Absolutely. They made their choice, and I — but I mean, both of those guys have been there 16-17 years? It’s a slap in the face. Both of those guys are my friends.”
