WWE Removes NXT Heritage Cup From Championship List

The NXT Heritage Cup Championship no longer appears to be a WWE title, as it has been removed from the company’s Championship page. As WrestleTalk reports, the Heritage Cup has been removed as a recognized championship on WWE.com.

The NXT Heritage Cup was instituted back in September 10th, 2020 when NXT UK returned following COVID lockdowns. The first champion was determined via a tournament, which saw A-Kid (now Axiom) win the cup The title was brought over to NXT in early 2023 after NXT UK was shut down in August of 2022. Noam Dar was the champion at the time and had the longest title reign at 292 recognized days.

The final champion was Stacks Lorenzo, who won the vacant Cup on the June 24th, 2025 episode of WWE NXT after it was vacated by Dar, who was in the middle of his fourth title reign. Stacks only held the title for 17 days before Tony D’Angelo tossed it off a bridge. It has not been referenced on TV since that time.

In addition to having the longest title reign, Dar had the most with four and the most combined days as champion at 798.
