The unicorns are now free from the circus. It looks like Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are now celebrating their free agency after exiting WWE. Kingston and Woods shared a video on their social media accounts, showcasing the story of two unicorns breaking out of their chains in a circus and running away toward freedom.
The new animated video, directed and designed by Jonathan Davenport, shows two unicorns chained up and enslaved by a circus. The unicorns represent Kingston and Woods. There’s also a muscled-up ringmaster who appears to be a dead ringer for WWE Chief Creative Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
The unicorns eventually overpower and break from their chains. They run out of their pens and out of their circus. Another unicorn with a broken horn, apparently a reference to Big E, stays in his seat and watches on, nodding in approval as his brethren make their escape.
The unicorns power up their magical horns and break down the door of the big circus tent. It then transitions to a scene of two men, as the unicorns have now taken human form (Kingston and Woods), shedding their horns and walking off into the sunset.
As previously reported, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods parted ways with WWE after they were offered a contract restructuring, which they rejected. Both talents had previously signed new lucrative multi-year contracts with the promotion last year. You can check out the “Daybreak” animated short below:
