Konnan Wants To See Dominik Mysterio Win AAA Mega Title At Worlds Collide

Konnan is hopeful that Dominik Mysterio will capture the AAA Mega Championship at tonight’s WWE x AAA Worlds Collide. Mysterio is challenging El Hijo del Vikingo at tonight’s event, and Konnan spoke about the match while being asked about Mysterio getting a babyface reaction during his AAA appearances in an interview with Denise Salcedo.

“Wrestlers are known for not selling s**t,” Konnan said (per Fightful). “I was talking with Rey about this the other day. Dominik doesn’t sell anything, and I mean anything. When he got that pop in Mexico, he was very giddy. He was in the back like, ‘I can’t believe this. This is awesome. This is great.’ I was thinking, ‘You’re marking out, aren’t you?’”

He continued, “I hope they give him the title. I think he would be super over the moon. You never know. That’s not my decision. I think he’s ready. I think people want to see him as a champion. Nobody got a bigger reaction than him in Mexico.”
