Kurt Angle recently gave some new details on his WWE contract, noting that he’s doing some backstage production work and more. Angle spoke with Bubba The Love Sponge for a new interview and you can see a couple of highlights below:
On his current WWE status: “Yeah, I signed a nostalgia contract, which is basically just a merchandise contract. I do appearances for them, so they pay me per appearance and they gave me a really nice deal with the merchandise contract. They gave me a bunch of money upfront, which is really cool. But I’m not obligated to just the WWE so I can go do my own appearances and stuff. So it gave me a little leeway to do, you know, other things than being WWE.”
On being treated well by the company: “They’ve been really good to me thus far. I’ve been doing a lot of production stuff with them, possible TV shows amd just, I’m doing behind the scenes stuff, which is kind of cool.”
