Giulia vs. Kiana James

-We have history between these two! James attacks before the bell and I appreciate that as we don’t get grudge matches on this show every often. James lands a forearm, but misses a clothesline. Giulia snaps off a head scissors and lands a boot to the face. She tears at the nose and face of Kiana and runs her into the corner. She heads up, but Kiana knocks her off balance and slams her to the mat. James drops an elbow and flexes! She uses the middle rope to choke and then runs to the apron to deliver a boot to the head. James talks trash as she tells Giulia she is nothing. The crowd gets behind Giulia and she lands some strikes. She gets a roll-up for two, but gets yanked down by her hair. Standing moonsault gets two! James with shoulders in the corner as the crowd starts a “Let’s Go Giulia,” chant. Corkscrew elbow misses! They trade forearms in the middle of the ring and Giulia wins the exchange. She runs James over with a shoulder tackle and another. Giulia fires off leg kicks and then lands a head kick for two. She ties James up and starts yanking back before deliver a stomp to the back of the head. Cool but it only gets two. James slides out of a slam and lands a kick. Falcon Arrow gets two! They are giving these two ladies some time here. James with more trash talk, but misses a boot and Giulia gets a roll-up for two. Deal Breaker from James, but she misses a moonsault. Running knee from Giulia and a Northern Lights Bomb gets the pin at 7:07.

Winner: Giulia via pin at 7:07
-They were given a lot of time for this show. Interesting that the last match to break 6 minutes also featured Giulia. That was the superb match with Jordynne Grace. This one started a little slow, but they got the crowd into and worked hard to have a fun little match. **3/4

American Made (Julius and Brutus Creed) vs. Dorian Van Dux and Sean Legacy

-The Creeds are back on Main Event. Crazy people think they have been in AAA, but again, those are crazy people. Nice seeing some of the Evolve talent I cover getting some main roster shine. DVD had a really good match with Sam Holloway this past week on Evolve. It was just missing a finish as it was a double count-out and I assume they will be running it back. DVD starts with Julius, but a tag is made to Brutus in short order. DVD snaps off a rana for a two count. Tag to Legacy and he leaps over DVD and onto the arm of Brutus. Tag back to DVD and we get a double belly to back suplex. More combo offense from Legacy DVD. Julius gets DVD’s attention from the apron and that lets Brutus attack from behind. He goes to ground and pound and then sends DVD flying in the air and on his face. Julius back in and he knocks Legacy off the apron. Snap suplex from Julius and another gets two. Brutus back in and he goes to work on the arm and shoulder. DVD counters another throw into a DDT. He crawls for the corner and leaps for the hot tag. Legacy off the top with a cross-body and then an quebrada. Head kick to Brutus in the corner. Sprinboard missile dropkick to both Creeds. Sliced Bread to Julius and Legacy heads up top. Julius pulls the ref away and Brutus shoves Legacy off the top. DVD gets knocked off the apron and a Brutus Ball follow by a sliding knee gets the pin at 5:44.

Winners: American Made via pin at 5:44
-Solid match that used the standard tag formula. Legacy and DVD got to show off a bit here before taking the loss. **1/4

-Cena hocks Club WWE and I guess they have their own shop site and you can get Cena gear based on 17 cities that his retirement tour didn’t reach.

Ivy Nile vs. Wendy Choo

-I think Wendy has been on Main Event in the past when she still had the Sleepy Psycho gimmick. Howard is there for me as he says this is her third Main Event match. Wendy is the former Evolve Women’s Champion. Ivy is basically Miss Main Event at this point. Choo shoves Ivy on her ass to start and then gets a side headlock. Ivy counters with a head scissors. Wendy with a head stand to escape and goes back to the side headlock. Howard plugs Wendy being involved in the TNA Knockout’s TV Title Tournament. Nile blocks a hip toss and delivers a clothesline. Joseph was missing on commentary and pops back in and accuses Howard of unplugging his mic. SOS Slam from Nile. Ivy with strikes to the back of the head. Wendy responds and gets a sunset flip for two. Ivy runs her down again and then starts pulling back on the arms. Wendy escapes and hits a jawbreaker. She follows up with a clothesline and another. Hammerlock clothesline! Choo with a splash in the corner and then hits a cannonball off the middle ropes for two. Nile escapes The Snooze Buttona and gets a German Suplex with a bridge for two. Choo with a small package for two. Snooze Button hits this time, but Nile is out at two. Dirt Nap, but Ivy runs her into the top rope and then hits a head kick. The Gain Train finishes at 5:27.

Winner: Ivy Nile via pin at 5:27
-Another solid match. That is three weeks in a row with a win for Ivy Nile. We have a Woman’s IC Title. You can put her in the running for that Championship. Wendy looked fine out there and while not as visually impressive, I did this wendy over the Sleepy Psycho. **1/4

Another good show this week. They have found a good formula with a mix of Main Roster talent that aren't always used and kids from NXT and Evolve. James/Giulia gets the nod for Match of the Week for me. Giulia has been a joy in her few appearances on this show and James continues to improve. The Tag Match and Main Event were both solid and gave some newbies a chance to work in a large arena. I will say again, they should be able to find something for Ivy to do.
