Liv Morgan has won the Royal Rumble after coming close multiple times, and she shared her thoughts on the victory in an interview after the show. Morgan won the women’s Rumble match at Saturday’s PLE after being the runner-up for two years straight. In order to get the win, she even eliminated her stablemate in Raquel Rodriguez at an opportune moment.
Morgan appeared on WWE Now’s Royal Rumble recap show and spoke about her victory and more. She said she’s waiting to decide on what title she’ll challenge for at WrestleMania for the time being. You can see highlights below:
On How It Feels To Win the Royal Rumble:
“Oh, words can’t describe. Words can’t describe how it feels. I’ve done nine of these, I’ve had every position in this match. I’ve started it, I’ve ended it. I’ve had the record for the fastest elimination, I’ve shared a record for being in the ring the longest. I’ve had every position. Runner up, but never a winner until tonight. So it feels exactly like how I thought it would…”
“You don’t do this match more than everyone else and like, not win it. And I said it, I said it weeks ago. I said, ‘2026 is the year of the Judgment Day.’ I said it, I saw it. And now here it is.”
On How Long She’s Been Envisioning Winning the Match:
“My very first one nine years ago. No joke. Maybe I was a little bit delusional thinking that in my rookie year I’d win the Royal Rumble. But for nine whole years, every time it’s Rumble season I’ve sat and envisioned and manifested what this victory would look and feel and taste like. And now that we’re here, it’s honestly so much better and suit than I could have ever imagined.”
On Which Title She’ll Go After:
“I can go after any title of my choosing. So you know, there’s no timeline on when I need to make this decision. I can make this decision whenever I want to. So I’m really gonna sit and ponder it, and make a very educated decision on what is best for me. And I’m not gonna rush it.”
On Lash Legend’s Performance:
“Are you kidding me? She rocked me. I don’t know that I’ve ever been hit that hard. But it didn’t matter because I won the Rumble and not her. So she can hit me as hard as she wants, bitch, but I won the Rumble. No, but she’s really strong. She’s really strong and intimidating. But she was no match for Liv Morgan.”
