Mads Krule Krugger Reacts To PWI 500 Ranking: ‘It Shows You’re Appreciated’

Mads Krule Krugger is ranked #58 in this year’s PWI 500, something that the MLW World Heavyweight Champion reacted to in a new interview. The 2025 edition of the PWI 500 was announced late last month with Krugger ranked just outside the top 50. He spoke with Fightful’s Jeremy Lambert and SP3 for a recent interview and commented on his ranking, noting that despite varied opinions about the list’s validity it does mean something to him.

“People always go back and forth on that list and what it means,” Krugger said. “To me, it shows people appreciate the work that I’ve done. That’s what it’s really about. There are fan polls everywhere. Three years ago, I was the Georgia Wrestler of the Year and that was a thing done amongst the business and the guys. It’s a thing that shows you’re appreciated, the work you’ve done is appreciated, and people are seeing you.”

He continued, “They really put Adam at 59 because that is how old he is [laughs]. That was cooler to us than the number, me and him together. That’s my boy.”

Krugger won the MLW World Championship from Matt Riddle in September at MLW Fightland.
