Melina Says She Got a Lot of Death Threats While Dating John Morrison

Melina is no stranger to getting harassed by fans only, and she recently recalled getting death threats while she was dating John Morrison. The WWE alumna spoke with Wrestling Shoot Interviews and talked about the experience when she was asked about experiencing creepy behavior from fans. On getting death threats over her relationship with John Morrison: “I think the only times things have gotten crazy is when I dated John. I got a lot of death threats all the time. People wanted to kill me, and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh. What if this is how I die? Just because I’m dating you? Dude.’ And he’s like, ‘Nothing’s going to happen to you.’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t know, a lot of these people are really serious. Oh my goodness, this is insane.'”

On being lucky with her fanbase compared to others: “I’ve been actually very lucky. Everybody … all my fans are sweet. They’re all nice and cool.”
