Mercedes Mone Admits She Sensed ‘Audience Fatigue’ During Her AEW All In Match

– During a recent edition of Mone Mag, AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone addressed criticism of her title defense against Britt Baker last Sunday at AEW All In: London 2024. Mone revealed that she did sense audience fatigue during the match. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):
Mone on sensing audience fatigue during her match: “I did sense some audience fatigue. It’s only natural being third to last, as the crowd had already seen over 10 matches before ours.”
On things she did during the match: “I feel I did things that maybe were not necessarily required for that match: things I could have saved for another time, but again, little sense in looking too far back other than what we can learn and use moving forward.”
Mercedes Mone beat Britt Baker to retain her title at AEW All In: London. The event was held at London’s Wembley Stadium and broadcast live on pay-per-view.
