2K Games has released the official trailer for the Monday Night War Edition of WWE 2K26 with a nostalgia-driven lineup centered on the late 1990s rivalry between WWE and WCW. The special edition focuses heavily on Attitude Era presentation, classic arenas, and alternate character models tied to one of wrestling’s most competitive periods.
The trailer features notable legends, including DX-era Shawn Michaels, nWo-era Randy Savage, and a 1998 version of Roddy Piper. It also showcases the WCW Thunder arena, reinforcing the theme that defined the Monday Night War timeframe. The edition bundles previously announced downloadable content packs, including the King of Kings and Attitude Era collections, along with a WrestleMania 42-themed content update scheduled for later this year.
Early access for the Monday Night War Edition begins Friday for players who purchase the premium version. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. The standard edition launches March 13 across platforms, marking the full release date for WWE 2K26.
