More On Tommaso Ciampa Reportedly Not Renewing WWE Contract

Tommaso Ciampa has been reported as exiting WWE soon, and a new report has a bit of detail on the matter. As noted on Saturday, Ciampa’s contract is set to expire and is not going to be renewed. It was reported at the time that the specifics were not yet clear, and the latest Wrestling Observer Radio has added some of said detail.

According to the latest episode, there was word that Ciampa had decided not to renew his deal about five weeks ago. The decision is believed to have been made by Ciampa and not WWE. It’s still not clear why Ciampa has decided not to renew his contract.

WWE has had Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae appearing on Smackdown without Ciampa in recent weeks, including last week’s show.
