UPDATED: Nick Aldis Confirms His Torn Bicep & Surgery
UPDATE: Nick Aldis took to social media to confirm the report of his injury and surgery. The Smackdown GM posted to Twitter to write:
“Yes, I just got out of surgery for a ruptured bicep tendon, and yes, the sheets had it within minutes. God bless ’em. Must be a slow news day…anyway it was a freak accident, I’m on the mend, and I will continue to fulfill my obligations. #SmackDown”

ORIGINAL: PWInsider reports that WWE producer and on-air SmackDown GM Nick Aldis suffered a torn bicep injury. Additionally, Aldis underwent surgery for the injury today, but he’s not expected to miss any appearances as a result since he’s not an active in-ring competitor.
Nick Aldis joined WWE last year, where he was named as the new General Manager of SmackDown by Triple H.
